Disney is so... great because (part 3)

Disney is so great because you can come home and swim in a warm pool, while your dad/uncle is the shark.
Disney is so great because they do EVERYTHING in Mouse Ears.

Disney is so great because although I shouldn't post this...Lori and I were laughing so hard we couldn't stand up (AR and Libbi just thought we were losing our minds again).

Disney is so great because they've created these cool ways of keeping your group together... they are called bars and handrails. Quite inventive.

Disney is so great because you can tote in a days worth of food for 20 people and we still find the room to buy funnel cakes, cokes, pretzels, coffee, hot chocolate, churros, ice cream, rice krispee treats, suckers, frozen bananas (except this trip... peanut scare!), turkey legs, and whatever else you can think of (and then somebody is always hungry).
Disney is so great because you don't know what exciting thing to do first... either that or you've got to go to the bathroom and you don't know where it is!

Disney is so great because these tentacles show up on my head everytime I near the park.

Disney is so great because you can buy really fattening food and everybody wants some of it.

Disney is so great because you get to snuggle with those you love while attempting death-defying acts of bravery.

Disney is so great because your almost tall enough to see over the rail of the seat... not quite but almost.

Disney is so great because you get to see your dad, your aunt, and your cousin-in-law shoot out at high speeds and everyone gets a kick out of hearing Nancy scream!

Disney is so great because you get to dress like your cousin while your dad's buy ice cream from a big dinosaur with smoke coming out his nose.

Disney is so... great because you get to take random photos with talking fish while your all decked out in your fine Disney wear!

Disney is so... great because you can see these great parades that block your path to everywhere you want to go, so you just sit down and eat ice cream and buy pins at the nearest stand (it's all a plot I tell you!)

Disney is so great... because they sell these really great balloons for $10.00 a piece and once your mom blows your purple balloon up with the flash from her camera (like seriously... I saw it and smelled it) and nearly blinds herself you go see the head balloon guy and he'll give you another one.

Disney is so... great because you buy light-up toys for $20.00 a piece and the kid's love them but they are broken before you reach your hometown again.

Disney is so... great because you can stand around and loiter and the great thing is they expect you too.

Disney is so... great because you can't tell it but were having the time of our lives.

Disney is so.... great because you get to see some really fancy footwork from some guys in leotards.

Disney is so... great because (part 2)

Disney is so.... great because you can eat in a Rainforest and monkey around outside too, while your cousin throws pennies in the drainage system.
Disney is so.... great because you can just fall in love with it all.... including all the light poles and trash cans.

Disney is so.... great because they shoot fireworks and light up the castle and you feel like it's the greatest thing you've ever seen (well, the greatest thing you've seen in the last 30 minutes because it's all so overwhelming)

Disney is so..... great because you get to use your photographer skills while upside down and moving at very high speeds (especially on Goofy's Barnstormer!)

Disney is so..... great because it's not everyday that you get to pose with Mr. Potato head and he talks back to you!

Disney is so..... great because you get to visit Paris right after you've left Asia and you are really feeling no jet lag. (It's also pretty great to get to ride on your dad's shoulders while doing it)

Disney is so.... great because you get to sleep in a very comfy stroller and no one bothers you. (They actually try to promote sleep and watch over you very carefully while everyone else rides Aladdins Carpet Ride..... you of course would be very upset at this if you weren't asleep... but no one plans on telling you!)

Disney is so.... great because you aren't at work, the weather is PERFECT, you are snacking your way across every park and you get to be with the one you love (did I mention you're not at work?).

Disney is so.... great because your Uncle A.R. is making faces behind your mama while waving Ice Cream in your face. ($5.00 ice cream never tasted better)
More Disney is so... great tommorrow .. because right now the bed is so great!

We are now going to start the 2009 Walt Disney World Pictures and we'll just name it.... Disney is so.... great because - - - - -

Disney is so... great because you can get your whole family to stand under the "Dummy Assembly" sign and they'll go along with it... no questions asked (and they even think it's fun).
Disney is so.... great because you can give your cousin leg hugs in China and you don't even get jet-lag.

Disney is so..... great because the entire family can stand around looking like they have no idea what's going on and this is completely normal and expected.

Disney is so.... great because you can hike across the biggest parking lot known to man at 8 in the morning and the kids think it's the greatest thing in the world, and follow after you singing and skipping all the way.

Disney is so..... great because you get to see your favorite characters live only 10 feet from you and your husband thinks it's pretty cool too.

Lunch at Grandma's.. Easter Afternoon

Trying to feed this crazy bunch. I made my Great Grandmother's famous potato salad. Nobody made it better than she did. Mom splurged and got us a Honey Baked Ham. YUM! Grandmother made her famous Macaroni and Cheese. Luke will eat no other and makes no bones about it. We also had carrot salad, green beans, Savage's Bakery Cakes (Easter Treat). Needless to say we stuffed ourselves.
Moosie (or mooter man as I call him)

Me and Moose
Uncle Matt and J, checking out jackson's easter basket from his grandmother and great-grandmother

Grandma got him Bolt and G-mom got his the Tale of Despereaux

Uncle Matt called this the easter TUB, not the easter basket (mom really got the bigger tub so he could store toys in it later..... she really thinks ahead!)

Easter 09

Cute Feet (only a mom takes feet pictures!)
Sweet Boy (he actually got to open his easter basket from me a week early because he was getting Easter stuff from Gmomma, Grandma, and Grandma Jo Jo too!)

Who doesn't just love Toy Story, I ask you?

Lining everybody up on mom's bed. Jackson asked for a BIG Buzz Lightyear back in January. I thought, where besides Disney World could I find a BIG Buzz Lightyear? At Disney, I'd probably have to mortgage my house (but actually all the toys were 35% off this year... ALL TOYS.. INCREDIBLE!) Anyways, I work a kid's consignment sale called Kid's Market and Mom (www.kidsmarketandmom.com) and this was the year of Buzz. I got a Buzz embroidered sleeping bag for about $10.00. Someone saw me pick it up and open it and told me that it came from the Disney Store and they run for about $80-$90 dollars. I thought $10.00 was pretty awesome. We found plastic Buzz, Big Stuffed Buzz, and all the Round-up gang. I could have bought more but sometimes more is just more. I did get Pauley a Buzz too. You just can't beat $3.00. I think Kid's Market is AWESOME for many reasons.. but one of the main reasons is you just never know what you will find. It's always different. Working the sale is hard, especially when you are a team leader and you yourself are wondering what in the world you are doing. But, it's worth it.

View from above (candy ..... thanks to Target)

Dollar General Jelly Beans (Luke only wants the cheap Jelly Beans... no starburst, jelly belly brand for him) The cheaper the better.
