Colorado...and the two BUMS

Hey everybody. I just took a look at my sister's blog and it looks like they are having a GREAT time out west in Colorado. Jackson asked me tonight if we could go see the elk. He said, "Mom, wouldn't it be great if we were there." (wonder where he got his love of travel? humm...... got to think about that one) Lexi is doing an awesome job taking pictures. I'm so proud. She and I headed to Wolf Camera before they left and picked up some "camera accessories" for my camera. Polarized lenses, tri-pod, etc.... and yes... I let her take my camera. Jackson got a Ninja Turtles costume last night at Kid's Market and your going to have to wait another week or so for my camera to return before you see those pictures. I'm sure this really upsets you. Picked up some neat things at Kid's Market for Jack, Josephine, Mikayla, Libbi, Paulie, Nathan, Liz's unborn baby and the list goes on and on. It was a good sale this time and I've got birthday's and christmas presents stocked up.

the OFFICIAL 2nd birthday, part 1, subset A

We had the best time at Josephine and Mikayla's 2nd Birthday. They are getting to be such big girls and Aunt Mandy even got to hear the big news over the phone today that they are starting to use the Big Girl potties. Wow! Such big girls. They grow up so quick. Now, in the above picture you will wonder what in the world we were doing. Well, Uncle Jason hooked up the riding toys to rope and all the kids took turns flying down the hill in the cars. WHAT A PARTY. Man, Aunt Ashley and Uncle Jason sure know how to throw a party. It was awesome.
(side note: Aunt Mandy sometimes has a hard time telling us apart in pictures where we aren't standing together but she thinks this is Mikayla) O.K. so Mikayla (we think) is a DAREDEVIL. She just flew down that hill in this little wagon. So cute.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

Well, while mom was at home tonight working dad took me out for a while. Look at what I found! A TRANSFORMERS BUMBLEBEE Halloween Costume. Wow! I had told mom and dad that I wanted to be BONES for Halloween (aka a Skeleton) but we hadn't found just the right costume yet. And low and behold, dad and I found TRANSFORMERS which is my absolute FAVORITE! I got so excited I had to call mom while I was at the store trying it on. She got really excited too because she didn't have to wade knee deep in the 5,000 costumes hanging on the racks at Kid's Market. Now, she can spend her time picking out just the right bicycle for me for Christmas. You know my mom, she has nothing but time to spend. Me and Grandma Jo Jo had talked this weekend about what I wanted to be so I thought I'd get mom to post these pictures so she could see how cool this outfit is. I am SO SCARY!!! I can not wait for Halloween and ask mom pretty much every day if it is Halloween yet. I got Miss Vicki from church tickled because she heard me asking mom over the phone if it was Halloween yet. (And notice in the background our SPOOKY topiaries. I helped mom wrap them in Spiderwebs and black spiders. OOOOOOOHHHHHH......I love Halloween (just like Daddy, but it's mom who goes a little overboard with the decorations). I caught mom last Sunday night wrapping our deck in purple and orange lights. Mom got everyone on the deck for the official lighting of our 1st ever Halloween lights. Dad did the "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" thing where Clark sings and then plugs in the lights. It really made mom laugh really hard. I, of course, followed suit because I laugh even when I have no idea of what crazy stuff dad is normally doing. Dad acting crazy is pretty normal stuff around here.
Mom took some great pictures of the twins birthday and we're going to post those tommorrow. I can't wait for you to see them. J

attitude

Dad, Papa Jim, Aunt Fru, and Uncle Matt went to play tennis, and Grandma Jo Jo and I went too. Now of course, Grandma Jo Jo and I showed my mom some "attitude" and of course she got it on camera. We were really just playing around. Now, you'll also notice that Grandma Jo Jo and I have the same hair. If everyone is wondering where it comes from, well look no further than my Grandma. She and I have unruly hair, so I come by it honestly. Mom says that I always look like I put my finger in a light socket. But, if I started to have normal looking hair everyone would start to wonder what happened. Weird hair is kind of my thing.

Well anyways, it's the twins birthday this weekend and we are going over for the big "2nd" birthday. And, I get to spend the night with aunt georgia and uncle jack friday night while mom and dad go see Les Miserables at the Fox. Let's just say that I'm getting the better end of that stick. Playing outside with Maddie and Chubbs in the dirt, while uncle jack throws the ball to Chubbs is a blast and much better than a bunch of people dancing around onstage and singing in french. But, mom and dad seem to think that a night out on the town "ALONE" is great fun....GO FIGURE! I'll let you know all about my fun evening on Monday. Have a great weekend. over and out. J-man

Me and Aunt Fru at the beach

Aunt Fru called tonight all excited that she had posted to her blog. WEll, there was a little glitch in the system but go check it out now. It's of poppy, dad, mom and me feeding the birds at the beach. Her blog is the one listed under family as SISTER. Aunt Fru was so excited and she'll be leaving for Colorado soon and we will get to see the whole vacation in pictures. Can't wait.

1st Sleepover

Alex came and slept over a few weeks ago and they just had the best time. Luke set up Jackson's tent in his bedroom and they played and played. We went and ate pizza at New York Pizza (they boys got to play arcades) and then the next morning we went to Chick-fil-a and played in the play place. We'll have to do it again sometime soon.

It's about that time.

You know.... it's getting to be that time of year again.... fall, pumpkin patches, cooler weather, halloween, good stuff. I love this picture. It is of Jackson and his friend Miss Maura from church. They were almost 2 when this picture was taken. I have this picture hanging in my bathroom. I love it.
