these pictures are a few months late but hey, whose counting?
(above picture - o.k. here we are doing all things Gatlinburg and one of those being riding
go-carts which was jackson's first time if you don't count the one's at Disney World - no one tell him that he can't reach the gas pedal)
o.k. this was one of those drop thingys but a little smaller but it did actually take your breath away a couple of times - and of course jackson loves all things FAST! Wonder where he gets this from?
Just out having fun and relaxing

Who wants to see what some of these crazy folks dressed up like for Dee's Tacky/Wacky/ Pajama/I've never met these people before in my LIFE Party?

and while we are at it, I'll just go ahead and finish most of the pictures of the party so we can get on to more important things like actually getting married......WHICH IS NEXT WEEK! AHHHHHH......................So, as you can see (above picture) Dee is trying to take it all in as we are on my porch dressed like...well, we were an interesting bunch to say the least....and I don't think there is a word to describe this group of family and friends....man, this party STILL makes me laugh so hard (currently I am thinking how Laura won one of the best dressed awards and it was a half-eaten Easter basket from this year - oh, you just can't beat a tacky party - they are just too much fun!) He He.....just this week I took over a few of the leftover decorations and decorated her office at work. (I'm going to be on her hit list)
and she's deciding whether she's going to disown me or not (actually Sheran confided in me last week that she got so excited just seeing all the flamingos and once she rounded the curve she just died laughing - this tidbit was good to hear)
O.K. ,so she's excited about the shirt (I mean it does have a pretty good looking guy on it!) I tell you, we are so bad. Half of us had her convinced that she needed to really dress up nice (like for church) and then the other half was telling her it was REALLY REALLY casual. She'd dressed up to the hilt and then Sheran had her change her clothes again into something more casual. Boy, we put her though it.
and lexi and nancy are playing with the spray cheese-whiz
oh, this stuff is SO GOOD!
Lori stiking a pose for us (actually it was burning up and she was trying to cool down)
And our appetizers were pink marshmallows with toothpicks, slim jim beef jerky, vienna sausages, last years halloween candy, spray cheese whiz and crackers
Sylvia looked AWESOME! (Love the makeup)

Dee REALLY loved this!
And this is my cousin Allison with her skirt tucket up in her shorts (CLASSIC!)
Believe this or not......this is Dee's family (and she still talks to us!)

Waiting for her to drive up
O.K. I can't believe I'm going to admit this but do you guys remember the email that went out where it was stated that some one in Gardendale wore a new men's brief "creation" as a tank top outside of wal-mart? Well, Nancy brought a pair of Ress's underware and we made Dee wear it! HAAAAAAAAAAA! We didn't tell her it was her brother's underwear until we got it on her! It was great.
O.K. well, I got Nelson to come for just one game called the Newlywed game. Dee didn't know he was coming and so we snuck him in and after we'd asked her to try to figure out how Nelson would answer the questions, he came in wearing one of Dee's old wigs (the wig was part of the question) and Dee was floored. We got her good.
Nelson was a great sport.....
and I think he had a good time until we kicked him back out of the house.
Nancy strikes a pose
Lexi and Dewey
o.k. who let this guy in? wait a minute .... he just wants to know what happened to his underwear! He thought he'd bring some fruit for an honest trade.
and here's lori again

elaine and julie (they are color coordinated too!)
aunt nancy with her jello mold
kati's wonderful choice of foot attire

Eloise, Gmom and Dot, all looking quite well
